I AM GOD’S KIND (4)

Prophet Ebenezer O. Michael (Actor of Faith 1)

2Corinthians 5:17— Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Being in Christ is being in God and being in God is God in you; that makes you a God and you have the fundamental right in Christ Jesus to function as God. Satan cannot stop you. Once you have received your salvation, you are in Christ and as you begin to learn of Him, you become Christ. You belong to Him and everything Christ is, is who you are.

Note: You can’t be anything unless you are in Christ, you are nobody if you are not in Christ. When you are in Christ, you are a new creature.

To be born again means to come into Christ and your identity cannot be traced properly until you are in Christ. Your spiritual identification number is Christ. If you are not in Christ, the Father does not recognize you. In Christ, you become a new creature that functions in God’s kind of life, that is your new status. Until you clearly understand this, your journey in life will be affected. When you become a new creature, the way you think becomes new, the way you approach issues becomes new.

2Corinthians 5:18-- And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

The dividend of being in Christ is that all things are yours. Each time you pray and you don’t feel a sense of the touch of God in you, regardless of how many days you have spent, you have wasted your time. Before you can pray and something happens, you must have a supernatural feel of God’s touch in you. That is why you don’t pray casually, you must feel the touch of God in your spirit. Once you have lost your identity, you have lost touch with God. It is possible to maintain touch with God all the days of your life.

There is something that God needs from you, He needs you to be like Him; He desires you come to that knowledge to be like Him. This is the greatest expectation of God from you. He doesn’t want you to be like Him for nothing, He wants you to be a co-creator with Him, this is His vision for you. God wants you to realize that you are in His image; this will help you to function in that capacity. When you come into Christ, your life changes and is transformed, the next step is to learn from Him, beholding Him as in a mirror until you are changed into His image and you look just like Him (2Corinthians 3:18). God doesn’t want you to function on a beggarly mode but a creator mode, you need to switch. God wants you to reach a level that when people look at you, they will see that you are like God. God wants you to metamorphose from ordinary to extraordinary.

When you get to this level, you move beyond the level of discouragement and inability to pray. Many believers today are babies, they cry when they don’t see food. An adult will not cry in the absence of food. There is a level you function as God and people will see that you are different from other human beings because you are a species of God. You can’t backslide when you know who you are. When you realize who you are, you overcome ANYTHING

The patriarchs in the scriptures operated like God. Recall Moses and the children of Israel before the Red Sea, God told them to move forward. When you are God, you don’t listen to environment rather you listen to spiritual instruction; you no longer live in fear.

When you know your true identity, you will always hear God. When you know your capacity in God, anything around you becomes an instrument, natural becomes supernatural. When you realize where you are coming from, the future is clear; it cannot be bleak because you know who you are. At this level you fellowship easily with God because you are one with God through Christ that lives in you.

1Corinthians 2:1-- And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

An ordinary man will never sing praises in the prison like Paul and Silas. Their action drew the attention of heaven because God cannot be locked up. Paul knew he was not an ordinary human being; he did not fight them when they locked him up.

Ephesians 6:12--For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

When you don’t know, the devil will take advantage of your ignorance.

Hosea 4:6--My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
